Hi, did you already decide? I've sold the X1 with the 8BitDo controller a while back. Enjoyed it very much. Ordered the Pro version for the speed, 4K and flying over water. It's not in the price range but yeah hobby may cost my wife says 😁Also looked into the Neo but that's also slow in follow mode and can't be folded wich is a big + for me. Looking forward to your reply. Greetz Ab
Hi - I haven't decided about the Pro version yet as I'm waiting for it to be a bit more mature and readily available. I have sold my DJI Mini 3 Pro now as I found it too much hassle to get flying. I prefer the Hover Air speed and quickness to get up and running. The Pro version is indeed very expensive so I'm holding off for now. I did purchase the Neo as I find the close selfie drones like the Hover Air X1 more my style and I don't really go for the big epic shots. I agree the folding of the X1 is really nice although I don't mind too much the Neo doesn't fold. It's actually not too big. I'm tempted to get the controller and maybe the googles to try flying it FPV.
@@4T-Tech I totally agree on the hassle with the other models. That's why I liked the X1 so much. I know the Pro and Max cost a lot of money and I was considering the Neo as well because the FPV option almost made me switch but makes it expensive as well. The googles cost €659 in the Netherlands and you need a controller as well. It's still to slow for my purpose though. I do a lot of road biking and 25 km/h well 35 would have been better. I also like to fly manual for some scenic shots. Happy flying and thanks for your reply.
@@19ab59 Hi - Yes I'd like to try FPV but the Goggles are really expensive. For road biking, sports definitely the Hover Pro would be the best choice for speed for sure and the Neo is too slow. I'm sure the Pro version will be perfect for your use. For me, I don't do cycling or anything like that, I only just do vlogging for videos and stuff like that which the X1/Neo is best. I think I'd like to do some scenic shots and fly manual so Pro is on my mind. I'm very interested how it would be for manual controller as there appears some accessory for controlling it at a distance.
Glad I didn't bought the X1 an waited for this, definitely and for sure getting the hoverair ProMax, Can't wait for lounge day and pricing that's the one to get for sure 🖐️🤟🤙✌️😘
Sounds great, only I seriously doubt the 5500m, probably more like 55m, which is actually a major upgrade from the present 15. BTW: do you know if it is possible to choose clockwise orbiting? Why does it “cut” zoom out/in into two separate segments?
Hi thanks and agree the 5500m is most certainly a mistake and 55m seems more sensible. That's a good question about the orbiting, I think the Hover Air only does in one direction but no idea about this new model. I also think the two segment video is odd, but I think it does that for two separate shots depending on what the user thinks is best.
One correction.... You talk about flight time (pathetic 16 mins) and you say it's comparable to the Mini 3 & 4.... The mini 3 and 4 have had flight times for about 30 minutes as long as I can remember So this drone only has half the flight time as the DJI drones.
There is increasingly restrictions here in the UK for drones now, so not so easy to use them. The Hover Air is better since it can't go very far anyway. I'm not sure about this big one, as I don't use the DJI Mini 3 as much as I should due to all the restrictions.
Are you as excited as I am to hear about this new 8K new Hover Pro model? What do you think? Are you going to be tempted?
Thanks for the update.
Let's hope it's as good as the leaks suggest!
3 DAYS LEFT in Indigo
Getting ProMax for sure👌👍

What i really need would be an option to use it skiing, wonder if that's going to be possible...
Yes it should be suitable for skiiing usage as it can now travel over snow! (or supposedly)
@@4T-Tech still needs to be able to go downhill fast enough

Thanks for the correction! Well spotted! I think I was thinking about the Hover flight time at that point which is around that time so got it wrong
So is Christmas
I don't see droes in Manila so I am guessing they aren't allowed where I live. You get toys I'm not allowed to play with

Too expensive for a piece of plastic.
My opinion!
Not even a flying lump of plastic? 😀
